Field Trip Planned

There will be NO Dog class on April 26. Instead we will be having a field trip on Wednesday, April 28. Meet at the Extension Office in Hudson at 6PM Sharp.

Please let Jane know if you cannot attend.

We will be traveling to an agility facility in Germantown. Leave your dogs home.

If you already carpool to class, please contact Jane. We may need one group to travel in their own vehicle.

Registrations Due March 31


WHEN: Classes begin April 5, 2010

WHERE: Columbia County Fairgrounds*
(Route 66, Chatham)

TIME: 6:30-7:30PM

COST: $8 per child/dog team

WHO: Youth in Grades 3-12
Dogs aged 5 months and up

Participants will:
• Learn basic techniques for training their dogs
• Complete an eight-week series of lessons in pre-novice obedience

Class size is limited to 12 participants and will be cancelled if less than 5 pre-register by March 31.

4-H Volunteer Jane Weaver will be teaching the course.

*The first session will be dog handlers only (leave your dogs home!). We will meet at the Extension Education Center, 479 Route 66, Hudson.
